Cowgirl Basketball Announces Big 12 Slate

IRVING, Texas – Oklahoma State's women's basketball team has completed its schedule for the 2019-20 campaign with the unveiling of its conference slate on Wednesday by the league office.
The conference slate features a double round-robin format for the eighth-consecutive year, consisting of 18 games with squads playing each other twice. For the first time since 2012, the Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Championship will be held in Kansas City in 2020. The annual tournament is set for Thursday, March 12 through Sunday, March 15.
The Cowgirls will open league play with back-to-back home games, hosting Kansas on Jan. 4 and Oklahoma on Jan. 8. Road tilts with Baylor (Jan. 12) and Kansas State (Jan. 15) will follow.
OSU will return home to face Iowa State on January 19 before traveling to West Virginia for a Jan. 22 contest.
A pair of home contests against Texas (Jan. 25) and TCU (Jan. 29) will precede a two-game road swing with games at Texas Tech on Feb. 1 and Iowa State on Feb. 5.
The Cowgirl will host West Virginia on Feb. 8 before traveling to Norman to face Oklahoma on Feb. 11.
Baylor will pay a visit to Stillwater on Feb. 15 before the Cowgirls head to Fort Worth to take on TCU on Feb. 23.
Texas Tech will come to town on Feb. 26 before OSU takes on Kansas in Lawrence on Feb. 29.
A March 3 contest against Kansas State will close out the home schedule before the regular season draws to a close with a March 8 game in Austin against Texas.
With the completion of this season's slate, the Cowgirls will take on six squads ranked in ESPN's Preseason Top 25. Head coach Jim Littell's team will face top-ranked Oregon, No. 2 Baylor, No. 8 Louisville, No. 10 Texas A&M, No. 14 Texas and No. 24 Rice.
