STILLWATER – Oklahoma State extended its winning streak to five games Sunday with a 1-0 victory over Omaha at Neal Patterson Stadium.

With the win, the Cowgirls remained unbeaten on the season at 6-0-1, while Omaha fell to 1-5-1.

Olyvia Dowell netted the lone goal in the match as OSU dominated the attack, recording a school-record 19 corner kicks and outshooting the Mavericks by a 27-1 margin.

OSU goalkeeper Dani Greenlee posted a clean sheet, which was her second shutout of the season and the Cowgirls' fourth on the year, as OSU has still not allowed a goal at home in 2019.

The first 45 minutes of the match were quiet for both teams, resulting in a scoreless half. OSU recorded seven shots before halftime, while Omaha managed its only shot of the day in the 25^th minute on an attempt by Sydney Randall that was wide of the mark.

The Cowgirls needed less than three minutes following intermission to get on the scoreboard. In the 48^th minute, Jaci Jones dribbled through the Omaha defense near the top of the box before dropping off a pass to Dowell, who sent a low shot to the far post for her fourth goal of the season and a 1-0 OSU lead.

OSU continued its attack but was unable to finish any other chances as the Cowgirls racked up 20 shots and 12 corner kicks over the final half.

Each of the Cowgirls' next two games will be held at home as they host Kennesaw State Thursday before a Sunday showdown with SMU.
