OSU Cross Country Slated for Challenging 2019 Season

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State cross country will host an NCAA Regional this fall for the first time since 2008, highlighting a challenging 2019 slate which includes a total of five meets prior to the NCAA Championships in Terre Haute, Indiana.
The 2019 cross country schedule features a trio of in-region meets to go along with the Midwest Regional which will be hosted in Stillwater.
The Pokes will open their year with an early-season competition in Tulsa, Oklahoma on August 31 at the Tulsa Preview.
Following the Tulsa Preview, the Cowboys and Cowgirls have the month of September to train and prepare for a pair of October meets. The Pokes will travel to Fayetteville, Arkansas to take part in the Chili Pepper Invitational on October 5 before heading to NCAA Championships host Indiana State in Terre Haute, Indiana for the Under Armour Pre-National Invitational on October 19.
The Big 12 Championships will be hosted by Baylor in Waco, Texas on November 2 as the Cowboys and Cowgirls will look for revenge against defending conference champions Iowa State and improve on their runner-up finishes a year ago.
On November 15, OSU will host the NCAA Midwest Regional, marking the first competition held at the newly-renovated, state-of-the-art OSU Cross Country Course.
The Pokes will be hopeful to head back to Terre Haute, Indiana for the NCAA Cross Country Championships on November 23, pending a top-two finish at the Stillwater regional.
