Likekele, USA Basketball Win Group A With Win Over Senegal

HERAKLION, Greece – Oklahoma State's Isaac Likekele helped USA Basketball pull away from Senegal to win, 87-58, and capture first place in Group A at the FIBA U19 World Cup.
The Cowboy sophomore registered 10 points on 5-of-9 shooting and the Americans were +21 with Likekele on the court – a team-best. He also added four rebounds, three assists and a pair of steals.
Likekele has now reached double figures in scoring twice through three games, and is averaging 10.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.3 steals on 63.6 percent shooting. For the event, the Americans are +46 with Likekele on the floor.
USA Basketball swept through group play with a 3-0 record and an average margin of victory of 29 points. The USA now moves on to the round of 16, where they will face the fourth place team in Group B, Latvia (0-3), at 5:15 a.m. on Wednesday.
