STILLWATER – Former Oklahoma State All-American goalkeeper AD Franch is one of 23 players selected for the United States Women's National Team roster for the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup.

OSU's career leader with 38 shutouts, Franch was a three-time All-American at OSU and is now a star in the NWSL, where she was the league's Goalkeeper of the Year in 2017 and 2018 as a member of the Portland Thorns.
Â
Franch has been a member of the USWNT since 2012 and earned her first-career cap against England at the SheBelieves Cup in March.
Â
The 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup will be hosted by France in June and July. The U.S. will open Group F play against Thailand on June 11 before facing Chile on June 16 and will close out the group stage vs. Sweden on June 20.
Â
The USWNT is the defending World Cup champion, winning the tourney in 2015, and will be seeking its fourth World Cup title in 2019.
Â
Prior to the World Cup, the USWNT will play three matches in the Send-Off Series in May, facing South Africa, New Zealand and Mexico.
