March 13, 2019 | Cowboy Baseball
In celebration of the final season of historic Allie P. Reynolds Stadium, the top Oklahoma State players from each decade of the stadium's era have been chosen for promotional trading cards, with sets highlighting the OSU stars of the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s and 2010s. A limited number of cards will be given away to fans at specific games throughout the 2019 season; the list of promotions can be found here. Each all-decade team includes 25 Cowboys.
Â
From 1990-99, the Cowboys made four College World Series appearances, finishing as NCAA runner-up in 1990, and won the Big Eight Conference championship from 1990-96, part of a record streak of 16-straight conference titles. Under hall of fame head coaches Gary Ward and Tom Holliday, OSU produced 16 All-Americans and compiled a 469-188 record, a winning percentage of .714, making them the eighth-winningest NCAA Division I baseball team of the 90s.
