Lubbock, Texas — Oklahoma State's women's basketball team saw its second-half rally come up short against Texas Tech on Saturday night, falling 90-78 in front of 5,238 fans inside United Supermarkets Arena.
The Cowgirls fell to 13-9 overall and 4-7 in Big 12 play, while the Lady Raiders moved to 11-12, 2-10.
Tech scored the game's first 11 points and led 15-2 before eventually taking a 22-13 lead after the first quarter.
OSU got within one on two separate occasions in the second period before the Lady Raiders eventually took a 37-34 lead at the intermission.
In the third, the Cowgirls used a 12-0 run to lead 56-52 with 1:31 remaining before Tech answered with a 7-1 run to close the period and regain the lead for good.
Sophomore Vivian Gray led all scorers with 22 points, while Jaden Hobbs added 17 behind five 3-pointers to go with six assists. Senior LaTashia Jones added 13 points and eight rebounds.
Tech finished with five double-digit scorers in the contest.
