Cowboys Extend Lead In Hawaii

Round 2 Results
WAIKOLOA, Hawaii – Oklahoma State's men's golf team carded a 15-under 273 during its second round on Friday at the Amer Ari Invitational to expand its lead to five strokes at Waikoloa Kings' Course.
Through 36 holes, the top-ranked Cowboys stand at 36-under 540 and five shots clear of Southern California. Texas is third with a 546 total at the par-72, 7,074-yard layout.
UT's Cole Hammer used a 64 during his second round to climb into the top spot in the individual race at 13-under 131.
Three Cowboys finished the day tied for fourth place at 133 with senior Zach Bauchou, junior Viktor Hovland and sophomore Matthew Wolff all finishing at 11-under par. Bauchou carded a 70, Hovland a 67 and Wolff a 64.
Sophomore Austin Eckroat's 72 tied him for 31st place at 141, while senior Hayden Wood posted a 74 to stand at 147 and tied for 75th place.
Junior Ferdinand Müller, who is competing individually, carded a 76 during his final round to stand in a tie for 64th at 145.
Tomorrow's final round will get underway at 7:30 a.m. (HST). The Cowboys will be grouped with Texas Tech, Oregon and Georgia Tech. Live scoring for the event is available at golfstat.com.
