The 2019 baseball starts next week, with Oklahoma State opening play at UT Rio Grande Valley on Feb. 15. The Cowboys are ranked as high as 16th in the preseason national polls.

OSU is coming off a 31-26-1 season in which the Cowboys finished second in the Big 12 Conference and earned an NCAA Regional berth for the sixth consecutive year under head coach Josh Holliday.

With the '19 season right around the corner, we're breaking down the OSU roster by position. We continue today with the first installment previewing the pitching staff by highlighting four Cowboys who could play key roles in the starting rotation – and each of whom stand 6-foot-5 or taller.

Jensen Elliott, Junior, 6-6, 231, RHP
Logan Gragg, Junior, 6-5, 199, RHP
Mitchell Stone, Redshirt Freshman, 6-9, 255, LHP

Joe Lienhard, Senior, 6-5, 235, RHP
- An honorable mention All-Big 12 performer in 2018
- Made 18 appearances, 12 as a starter, and was 5-3 with a save
- Went 4-1 in eight Big 12 starts
- Owns a career record of 9-6 in 55 career appearances
Jensen Elliott, Junior, 6-6, 231, RHP
- Missed most of 2017 and 2018 seasons after undergoing Tommy John surgery in April 2017
- Pitched in four games in both '17 and '18
- Was a Freshman All-American on OSU's College World Series Team in 2016, going 9-3 with a 3.50 ERA in 17 starts
- Is 12-3 with a 3.66 ERA in 25 career appearances
Logan Gragg, Junior, 6-5, 199, RHP
- Spent last two seasons at Connors State JC
- Came back from Tommy John surgery to pitch in 13 games as a sophomore and was 6-0 with a 2.06 ERA
- Was 11-2 with a 2.50 ERA as a freshman
Mitchell Stone, Redshirt Freshman, 6-9, 255, LHP
- Made two starts in 2018 before suffering season-ending foot injury in early March
- Struck out six in 4 1/3 innings over those two outings
- Three-time All-American at Deer Creek High School in Edmond, Okla.
