Postgame Notes
- Thanks to a record-breaking 17Â made 3-pointers from the Cowboys, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech faced off in an overtime showdown in Lubbock. OSU leads the overall series, 44-22 and has taken three of the last six meetings. The Red Raiders have an edge in the series at home, 14-10, which includes winning five of the last six meetings in Lubbock, including tonight's thrilling win over the Cowboys.Â
- The Cowboys opened opened the game by scoring six of their first seven field goals from 3-point range. The Red Raiders would go on an 8-0 run late in the first half that helped them extend their lead to as many as 13 points over the Cowboys.
- A 10-0 run late in the second half would give OSU its first lead of the night; that run was capped off by a 3-pointer from walk-on Dee Mitchell. A Lindy Waters 3-pointer with no time remaining would cap off a 22-13 run over the final 6:30. It was OSU's first ovetime game since Jan. 20, 2018.
- Oklahoma State outscored Texas Tech 44-34 in the second half. However, the Red Raiders outscored the Cowboys 13-9 in overtime to take the win.Â
