• This loss marked the Cowboys' first of the season. The last OSU team to have a better start to a season was the 2006-07 season.Â

• Georgetown finished a 24-18 advantage in points in the paint tonight.
• Oklahoma State's all time record against Georgetown is now 1-1.
• The only meeting prior to tonight's game between the two teams was on Nov. 23, 2016 in the Maui Jim Maui Invitational when the Cowboys won 97-70.

• Lindy Waters finished with a career-high 27 points along with six rebounds and six assists.

Game Flow
• The Cowboys' first five field goals of the night were all 3-point shots, three of them coming from Lindy Waters. Georgetown started the game shooting 10 of 14 from the field, helping fuel a 32-23 lead with 5:10 remaining in the first half. OSU would enter the half down 36-32 after Cameron McGriff hit a 3-point shot from the corner with seconds left.
• OSU took their first lead of the second half with 12:43 remaining when Yor Anei finished an and-one layup to put the Cowboys up 51-48. Georgetown would begin to pull away at the 10:15 mark and would lead for the remainder of the game.Â
Team Streak
• This game marked the first game in 34 games that the Cowboys used a different starting lineup. Chris Harris Jr. took the place of Isaac Likekele who joined Thomas Dziagwa, Lindy Waters, Cameron McGriff and Yor Anei.
