Oklahoma State went on a 10-0 run at the 11:15 mark that was capped off by a Keylan Boone pull-up 3-point jumper. The Cowboys would enter intermission up nine, 39-30. Lindy Waters III would lead all scorers at the half with 10.

OSU jumped out to a 16 point lead several minutes into the second half. Oral Roberts would cut the Cowboys' lead to just one with just 2:22 left but would not be enough as Cameron McGriff nailed two free-throws to solidify a four point lead with eight seconds remaining.
