November 17, 2019 | Cowboy Football
STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State football team moved up in both polls Sunday as it was voted No. 22 in the Associated Press Poll and No. 23 in the USA Today/Amway Coaches Poll. Oklahoma State was ranked at No. 25 in last week's AP Poll and was just one spot out of the Coaches Poll.
This marks the third time head coach Mike Gundy and the Cowboys (7-3; 4-3 Big 12) have been ranked this season, and the first time Oklahoma State has made the rankings in consecutive weeks this season.
The Cowboys are coming off of three straight victories that includes an upset on the road against then-No.23 Iowa State and back-to-back home wins over TCU and Kansas.
Two other Big 12 teams appeared in both of the national polls this week, including Oklahoma (No. 8/7) and Baylor (13/13).
Oklahoma State looks to extend its winning streak when it travels to Morgantown for a matchup against conference foe West Virginia this Saturday. Kickoff is set 11 a.m. on ESPN2.
