2020 Football Schedule Announced
October 22, 2019 | Cowboy Football
STILLWATER – A seven-game home slate that includes visits from Oregon State, Iowa State, Texas Tech, West Virginia, Texas and in-state foe Tulsa highlights the 2020 Oklahoma State football schedule, which was announced today by the Big 12 Conference.
The Cowboys open the season with a Thursday night tilt against Oregon State on Sept. 3 and play each of their three non-conference games inside Boone Pickens Stadium, welcoming Tulsa on Sept. 12 and Western Illinois on Sept. 19. When Oklahoma State faces Oregon State, it'll mark the fifth time in six years that the Cowboys play their season opener on a Thursday.
After an open date on Sept. 26, OSU opens Big 12 play with three of its first four on the road. The Cowboys are in Fort Worth to take on TCU on Oct. 3 before returning home for Iowa State on Oct. 10. A road trip to Kansas on Oct. 17 is followed by Bedlam in Norman on Oct. 24. This is the earliest Bedlam game since the Cowboys and Sooners played on Oct. 24 of 1998.
Texas Tech visits Boone Pickens Stadium on Oct. 31 for Homecoming, then the Cowboys travel to Waco to battle Baylor on Nov. 7.
Of Oklahoma State's final three regular season games, two will be played in Boone Pickens Stadium. West Virginia comes to town on Nov. 14, followed by an OSU road trip to Kansas State on Nov. 21. The regular season closes with a home battle against Texas, marking the first time that OSU has played the Longhorns in the regular season finale.
Though 2020 tickets are not yet on sale or open for renewal, 2019 tickets can be purchased by visiting okstate.com/tickets or by calling 877-ALL-4-OSU.
