STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma State's women's basketball team has added Brendan Roberts as its video coordinator it was announced today by Cowgirl head coach Jim Littell.
"Brendan will be a great addition to our program," Littell said. "He possesses a high basketball IQ and a strong work ethic. He has been a part of the Oklahoma State family and we are excited to be able to bring him back to Stillwater."
Roberts graduated from Oklahoma State in 2017 with a degree in finance as well as a minor in accounting. From 2013-17, he served as a student manager for the Cowboy basketball program, the last two as the program's head student manager.
The Cowboys earned a pair of NCAA Championship berths during Roberts' time as an undergraduate, appearing in the tournament in 2015 and 2017.
Roberts spent the past two seasons as a graduate assistant for OSU head coach Mike Boynton.
"I'm thrilled to be able to return home to Stillwater and join the staff here at Cowgirl Basketball. To be able to work with and learn from a man like Coach Littell, who has a wealth of experience and knowledge for the game, is extremely exciting. I can't wait to get started with this program."
A native of Flower Mound, Texas, Roberts filmed and coded games, created highlight, recruiting and player development videos.
Additionally, he helped develop and construct daily practice film and postgame film edits as well as assisting with opponent scouting. Roberts also had a hand in organizing the Cowboys' recruiting efforts as well as the program's scout team.
Roberts spent this past summer on the men's staff at Independence (Kan.) Community College where he helped coordinate the program's travel, was involved in recruiting and took part in on-court development. He also was in charge of all video pertaining to the program.
