Oklahoma State Postgame Notes vs. Baylor

:: Oklahoma State running back Chuba Hubbard entered the game leading the nation in rushing yards and rushing yards per game. He finished today's game with 171 yards to bring his season total to 1,265 yards on the ground.

:: Chuba Hubbard has rushed for at least 100 yards in nine of his past 11 games and he has a rushing touchdown in every game this season.

:: Baylor entered the game ranked third in the Big 12 in rush defense, allowing an average of 113.5 yards per game. OSU finished the game with 281 rushing yards. Baylor's pervious season high for rushing yards allowed was 164.

:: OSU has had a 100-yard rusher in 23 of its past 34 games.

:: Baylor's defense entered the game leading the Big 12 in scoring defense and allowing just 17.8 points per game. OSU finished the contest with 27 points.

:: Entering the game, the OSU defense had held its opponents to just 3-for-26 on third down conversions in two games over the past three weeks – the best in the nation over that time span. The Cowboys held Baylor to 3-for-9 on third downs, to bring the total for the past four weeks to 6-for-35.

:: A.J. Green defended Baylor's leading receiver, Denzel Mims, for the majority of the game and held him to 16 yards on one catch, both season lows.

:: Malcolm Rodriguez forced and recovered a fumble on the same play in the first quarter.

:: OSU has forced a turnover in 41 of its past 47 games and in 50 of its past 57 games, dating to 2015.

:: Jordan McCray's touchdown in the first quarter marked his second receiving touchdown in as many games. McCray has at least one catch in 24 of his past 26 games.

:: Entering the game, freshman punter Tom Hutton had downed 11 of his 26 punts this season inside the opponents' 20-yard line, and 13 of his punts had been fair caught. As a result, OSU entered the game leading the Big 12 and ranking third in the FBS with just 0.29 yards per punt return allowed. Against Baylor, Hutton downed three of his five punts inside the BU 20-yard line and one inside the BU 10.
