OSU held Texas to just 22 points in the first half, which is a season-low for the Longhorns. The Cowboys went on a 24-10 run over an 8:24 stretch in the first half.
- The Cowboys only scored one field goal the first 6:40 of the second half, but they never gave up their double-digit lead in that stretch. Texas did not hit its first 3-pointer until the 9:16 mark in the second half, which closed OSU's lead to just nine. That three was a part of a 9-0 run for the Longhorns.Â
- Texas went on a 7-0 run over a 2:11 stretch that closed OSU's lead to just three. A Longhorn layup with 11.9 remaining made it a one-point game, but a pair of Isaac Likekele free throws and a missed 3-point attempt at the buzzer by Texas sealed the game for OSU.
- Rebounding has been a strength of OSU's this season, as it has now outrebounded four of its last five opponents. The Cowboys outrebounded the Longhorns 38-30 tonight.Â
- Oklahoma State managed to hold Texas to 2-22 shooting from beyond the arc tonight. Two 3-pointers is the least amount that an opponent has made against OSU this season.
