2019 Cowboy Baseball: The Outfield
January 31, 2019 | Cowboy Baseball
The start of the 2019 baseball season is just over two weeks away, with Oklahoma State opening play at UT Rio Grande Valley on Feb. 15. The Cowboys are ranked as high as 16th in the preseason national polls.
OSU is coming off a 31-26-1 season in which the Cowboys finished second in the Big 12 Conference and earned an NCAA Regional berth for the sixth consecutive year under head coach Josh Holliday.
With the '19 season right around the corner, we're breaking down the OSU roster by position, and continue today with the outfielders, where Holliday says the group is small in number but long on skill.
"The outfield is not a group in terms of numbers that jumps out at you, but definitely a group that is strong in talent and some guys with some quality experience," Holliday said.
Colin Simpson, Senior, 5-9, 228, L/R
Trevor Boone, Junior, 6-2, 210, R/R
Cade Cabbiness, Junior, 6-4, 223, L/R
Carson McCusker, Junior, 6-8, 221, R/R
Noah Sifrit, Sophomore, 6-0, 200, L/L
