Postgame Notes

Tonight was the 130^thmeeting between the Cyclones and the Cowboys. With their win, the Cyclones tied up the series at 65 wins a piece.
OSU fell behind by as many as nine points in the first half of the game, but a 10-0 run with 6:21 left in the half kept the Cowboys in the game. Iowa State went on a 15-3 run with 2:03 to go in the first half that would ultimately help the Cyclones hold a 40-29 lead going into break.
The Cowboys opened up the second half on an 11-2 run that brought them within two points. However, the Cylones responded with a 10-3 run of their own that would widen the gap to 12 points. OSU would not get that gap under double digits for the rest of the game.

Yor Anei had a career-high rebounding night with 12 boards. He was just one point shy of logging his first career double-double.
