Postgame Notes
- The first half was mostly back and forth as the lead changed hands five times and the two teams were tied four times. It wasn't until OSU went on an 11-2 run with 3:17 left in the half that a true lead was established. OSU went into the break with an 11-point lead. The Cowboys held West Virginia to just one 3-pointer in the first half on 14 attempts. OSU only turned the ball over four times in the first half, which is the second fewest amount of turnovers in any half this season.
- Thomas Dziagwa shot a perfect 3-3 on 3-point attempts in the first half, but it was junior transfer Curtis Jones that led the charge with 12 points at the break. Jones'role was increased in the first half when Michael Weathers went back to the locker room with an injury early.
- The Mountaineers clawed their way back into the game and cut the lead down to as few as two points, but Isaac Likekele scored 17 points on 5-5 shooting and 7-9 from the free throw line in the second half to help OSU maintain and extend its lead.
- OSU held West Virginia to 6-29 on 3-point shooting. This is the second game in a row that OSU has held an opponent under 25% from three. The Cowboys also held the Mountaineers to 39% (26-67) shooting from the field.
- This was OSU's first true road win of the season.
Player Notes
- Isaac Likekele scored a career-high 23 points tonight. He also pulled down nine rebounds and dished out three assists. His nine rebounds tie a career-high for the freshman. 17 of his points came in the second half.
- Cameron McGriff logged his fifth career double-double today as he scored 16 points and pulled down 10 rebounds. He also dished out three assists.
- Lindy Waters has hit 47 of his last 49 free throws dating back to last season. He is 43 of 45 this season. Waters went 6-6 from the line today.
- Yor Anei has blocked at least one shot in 12 of OSU's 17 games, including five games with at least three blocks. He had one today.
- Maurice Calloo had missed his last 10 3-point attempts coming into today's game, but he broke that streak today when he knocked one down late in the first half.
- Thomas Dziagwa (11), Curtis Jones (15), Cameron McGriff (16), and Isaac Likekele (23) logged double-digit performances today. It is the second game in a row that OSU has had four players score in double-digits.

- OSU is the only team to win three straight trips in Morgantown, WV and is the only Big 12 team to have a winning record in WVU Coliseum. The Cowboys are 5-2 in Morgantown.
