Cowgirl Soccer’s Zoller Named Big 12’s Best

IRVING, Texas – Oklahoma State's Marlo Zoller has been named the Big 12 Conference Offensive Player of the Week, it was announced today by the league office.
Zoller led OSU to a 2-0 start to Big 12 Conference play with a pair of road wins that also saw the Cowgirls extend their winning streak to seven games, the longest by an OSU team since 2011. The senior forward recorded a pair of goals in wins over Kansas State and Kansas, and both were credited as game winners.
In Friday's win at K-State, Zoller's goal in the 54th minute was the difference, and on Sunday she helped OSU to its second win over a ranked opponent this season as her score in the 67th minute lifted the Cowgirls to a 2-1 win over No. 24 Kansas.
Zoller recorded six shots on the weekend, four of those on goal, and her two goals give her six for the season, which marks her career single-season high and also ranks second in the Big 12 this season. She also leads the Big 12 and ranks fifth nationally with four game-winning goals.
