Wallace Added to 2018 Biletnikoff Award Watch List

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State wide receiver Tylan Wallace has been added to the watch list for the 2018 Biletnikoff Award, the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation, Inc., announced Tuesday.
The Biletnikoff Award annually recognizes the outstanding FBS receiver in college football and any player who catches a pass is eligible for the award.
Wallace, a sophomore from Fort Worth, Texas, is OSU's leading receiver this season. He ranks No. 6 in FBS with 110.5 receiving yards per game and No. 8 nationally with 442 receiving yards on the year.
In the past three weeks, Wallace has recorded single-game performances of 166, 123 and 105 yards to become just the third Cowboy underclassman in school history with three straight 100-yard receiving games. The other two – James Washington and Justin Blackmon – were Biletnikoff winners by the end of their careers.
Semifinalists for the 2018 Biletnikoff Award will be announced Nov. 12 and three finalists will be announced from that group on Nov. 20. The winner will be presented live on Dec. 6 at The Home Depot College Football Awards on ESPN.
The 2018 Biletnikoff Award winner will be presented the Biletnikoff Award trophy by college and pro football hall of famer Fred Biletnikoff at the Biletnikoff Award Banquet in Tallahassee on Feb. 16, 2019.
The award recipient is selected by the Biletnikoff Award National Selection Committee, a group of college football journalists, commentators, announcers, Biletnikoff Award winners, and other former receivers. The Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation has also opened the 2018 FanVote, which will count as one official vote in every step pf the process. The Biletnikoff Award FanVote is available at BiletnikoffAward.com/fan-vote.
