STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State football team improved to 3-0 Saturday with a convincing win over No. 17 Boise State. The Cowboy defense netted seven total sacks and held the Broncos to just 1.1 yards per rush for the game. Some other key notes on the win:

• Improved it to 21-4 in its last 25 games and 35-9 in its last 44 games.
• Made it 1-0 all-time vs. Boise State.
• Improved Mike Gundy's career record vs. Mountain West teams to 1-0.
• Improved Mike Gundy's record in non-conference games to 48-11.
• Gave it nine straight wins in non-conference games.
• Improved it to 31-5 in its last 36 non-conference games.
• Improved it to 21-4 in its last 25 games overall.
• Made it 38-10 at Boone Pickens Stadium since the start of the 2011 season.

Defensive End Jordan Brailford
-Recorded 2.0 sacks (all in the first half) and a forced fumble in OSU's 44-21 win over No. 17 Boise State.
-Led the way in disrupting the Boise State offense as the Cowboys tallied seven sacks.
-Helped hold the Broncos to just 34 rushing yards on 1.1 yards per carry.

Linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga
-Blocked a second-quarter Boise State punt in a 7-7 tie to set up the Cowboys on the BSU seven yard line for the go-ahead score.
-The play shifted momentum to the Cowboys for good, as they led the rest of the way.
-It was OSU's first block of the season and first of two in the game.
-Tackled Boise State's Alex Mattison on the opening kickoff of the game to pin the Broncos at their own 18 yard line and help force a punt on the opening possession.
