Oklahoma State opened preseason camp last week as 29 Cowgirls reported to Stillwater to begin preparations for their 2018 campaign.

OSU is coming off a 16-4-3 season in which it captured the 2017 Big 12 Conference regular season championship. The Cowgirls advanced to the second round of the NCAA Women's Soccer Championship and look to build off that success in 2018.
Head coach Colin Carmichael's squad returns 15 letterwinners and 10Â starters from a year ago, led by All-American forward Haley Woodard, who scored eight goals and was named the 2017 Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year. OSU led the Big 12 with 45 goals last season, and 76 percent of the players who accounted for those goals return.
The Cowgirls open the season with an exhibition match against Missouri Friday at Swope Soccer Village in Kansas City at 7 p.m. and kick off regular season play Aug. 16 at Tulsa. OSU's home opener is Aug. 19 vs. Oklahoma in a match that will mark the official dedication of the newly constructed Neal Patterson Stadium.
