Harris Wins Junior Pan-American Greco Gold

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State wrestler Austin Harris spent just 2:18 on the mat in two matches Friday en route to a Junior Pan-American Greco title. Harris defeated both competitors in the round-robin 97 kg bracket to seal up the victory, claiming his second gold medal finish of the summer.
The Cowboy picked up his first win of the day in the form of a 9-0 technical fall in 1:38 against 2017 Junior Pan Am bronze medalist Bryan Cruz Palacios of Peru.
In his second-round matchup, Harris pinned Brazil's Gabriel Rocha de Lira in just 40 seconds. As a result, Harris was declared the winner and did not wrestle in the finals bouts.
