OSU Cross Country and Track and Field Earns Four First Team Academic All-District Nods

STILLWATER — The Oklahoma State Cross Country and Track and Field program put four student-athletes on CoSIDA's Google Cloud first team Academic All-District list, it was announced on Tuesday.
For the first time in program history, three Cowgirls earned first team Academic All-District nods: senior Emily Hart, senior Stephanie Ferrante and Big 12 champion Ariane Ballner.
All three women earned the honors with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Ballner is a management and marketing major, Hart a pre-veterinary animal science major and Ferrante will graduate with a degree in biochemistry and micro cell and molecular biology.
The lone Cowboy on the list is Elite 90 award winner Noah Gade. Gade continues to shine on and off the track, set to graduate with a 4.0 GPA in quantitative financial economics.
In the past, the OSU women have had two student-athletes named on the list on three occasions: 2004-05, 2005-06 and 2016-17.
First-team Academic All-District honorees advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America ballot, with Google Cloud Academic All-America teams announced in June. For more information, visit CoSIDA.com.
