Cowboys Third At Suspended Aggie Invite

BRYAN, Texas – Oklahoma State's men's golf team stood in third place when play was halted on Saturday at the Aggie Invitational at Texas A&M's Traditions Club.
Winners of their last six events, the Cowboys posted an opening 295 to trail Alabama by six after the event's morning round. OSU stands at 17-over par at the par-72, 7,088-yard layout and was one shot behind Kent State and nine behind leader Alabama when play was halted due to darkness.
Texas A&M's Walker Lee carded rounds of 68 and 70 to lead the individual race at 6-under 138.
OSU sophomore Viktor Hovland opened with a 75 and is even par on his second round with one hole to play. He is tied for 12th place at 3-over par.
Junior Zach Bauchou posted a pair of 74s and is tied for 15th place at 4-over 148.
Freshman Austin Eckroat also carded consecutive 74s to come in among the group at 4-over par.
Freshman Matthew Wolff signed for rounds of 72 and 80 to finish the day tied for 30th place at 152.
Senior Kristoffer Ventura's total of 153 included scores of 76 and 77, tying him for 37th place.
