Oklahoma State swept its third conference series of the season last weekend against Kansas to improve to 12-3 in Big 12 Conference play. The Cowboys are 23-14-1 overall and will take on Dallas Baptist tonight at 6:30 in a midweek road test.

- At 12-3, OSU is in sole possession of first place in the Big 12 standings. Texas is second with an 11-4 mark, while Texas Tech and Oklahoma are both 10-5 in league play.
- OSU moved into the national rankings for the first time in 2018 this week as the Cowboys are ranked 17th in the Collegiate Baseball poll and 23rd by D1Baseball.com.
- The Cowboys' three Big 12 Conference series sweeps this season (vs. TCU, Kansas State and Kansas) is the most by an OSU team since it had four in 2016. It also marks only the third time in six seasons under Josh Holliday that the Pokes have had three league series sweeps in a season (also 2014).
- Christian Funk plated a career-high seven RBIs in Friday's series opener vs. Kansas. The seven RBIs for Funk , who on Monday was named the Big 12 Newcomer of the Week, marked the first time a Cowboy has reached that total in a game since Kevin David drove in seven runs against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on April 14, 2009.
- Junior Joe Lienhard improved to 3-0 in Big 12 games with a win in Friday's series-clinching second game.
- Carson Teel threw his second complete game of the year, a seven-inning effort, in the series opener against KU. Teel leads the Big 12 in complete games this season.
- Oklahoma State tied a season high with three home runs in a single game on April 20 against Kansas. The Cowboys also had three homers against Oral Roberts on April 17. Two of the round trippers were by Christian Funk, who joined Carson McCusker as Cowboys to homer twice in a game this season.
- Carson McCusker extended his hitting streak to six games, his longest streak of the season.

- Oklahoma State is hitting .285 in Big 12 play, which ranks third in the conference. Multiple OSU players rank in the top 10 statistically in Big 12 play, including:
- Carson Teel: Is holding hitters to a .231 batting average (seventh in Big 12) and is tied for fifth in strikeouts (27).
- Joe Lienhard: Tied for fifth in strikeouts (27) and 10th in ERA (3.77).
- Jon Littell: Second in runs scored (17) and fifth in on-base percentage (.472). Littell's .362 batting average is also tied for 10th.
- Colin Simpson: Tied for fourth in Big 12 play with five homers, tied for second in walks with 13 and tied for sixth in RBIs with 15.
- Matt Kroon:His eight doubles is tied for first in conference play, and he is tied for fifth in stolen bases (5) and eighth in runs scored (15).
- Carson McCusker: His four home runs in Big 12 play are tied for seventh, his slugging percentage is fourth (.775) and his batting average ranks sixth (.375).
- Trevor Boone: Tied for sixth in RBIs (15).
- Michael Neustifter: Sixth in doubles with six, tied for fifth in hits (21) and tied for sixth with in RBIs (15).
