Two Cowboys On Haskins Award Watch List

STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma State's men's golf team was represented by a pair of players on the most recent watch list for the Fred Haskins Award with Zach Bauchou and Matthew Wolff both appearing on the list.
The honor is given annually to the best college golfer as voted on by players, coaches, sports information directors and media.
Bauchou currently ranks fifth in the Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings. A junior from Forest, Va., he has top-five finishes at the Olympia Fields/Fighting Illini Invitational, the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate and The Prestige at PGA West. Additionally, he tied for ninth at the Amer Ari Invitational.
Wolff stands at No. 20 in the most recent Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings. The freshman from Agoura Hills, Calif., has second-place showings at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate and the Amer Ari Invitational. He also has a pair of top-15 showings to his credit as well.
Seven times a Cowboy golfer has come away with the award. Lindy Miller (1978) was the first and was followed by Bob Tway (1981), Willie Wood (1982), Scott Verplank (1986), Charles Howell (2000), Hunter Mahan (2003) and Pablo Martin (2006).
