Cowboys in the NFL: Week 14
December 11, 2018 | Cowboy Football
Seahawks running back Chris Carson was again the star of the show in the Pacific Northwest, as he barreled his way through the Vikings defense for 90 yards and one score on 22 carries. Carson has tallied 794 yards and five rushing touchdowns so far in 2018.
With 206 yards over the final three weeks of the regular season, Carson can become the first former OSU running back to rush for 1,000 yards since Tatum Bell did so in 2006.

Carson's teammate, rookie cornerback Tre Flowers, has been a frequent face in these weekly updates, and for good reason.
Flowers continued to shine in Seattle's press-man coverage scheme, and his Monday Night Football showing was no different against the Vikings this week. He racked up eight total tackles, seven of which were solo stops, and batted down a pass en route to helping the Seahawks' defense limit Minnesota to just seven points.
The former All-American has racked up 59 tackles, five pass break-ups and forced three fumbles thus far in his rookie campaign.
CBs Tre Flowers and Shaguill Griffin were superb all game. Flowers had eight tackles (seven solo) and a pass deflection in the end zone. Griffin had seven tackles (six solo). They dominated the best WR duo in the NFL in Thielen and Diggs.

Raiders rookie wide receiver Marcell Ateman has been a key contributor in the California franchise's success over the past few weeks. Ateman hauled in three passes for 45 yards in Oakland's 24-21 victory over Pittsburgh Sunday. He has logged 12 catches for 127 yards and one touchdown in his four games since being signed to the Raiders' 53-man roster.

In Dallas, Cowboys tight end Blake Jarwin had the best showing of his young NFL career, hauling in seven Dak Prescott passes for 56 yards. Jarwin's outing saw the former OSU Cowboy Back set career highs in receptions (7), receiving yards (56) and long reception (22).
This was quite a catch by Blake Jarwin here. Nice adjustment. pic.twitter.com/RbTUifc2Mj

Browns defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah has also continued to build a solid resume after injury plagued the early portion of his season. The veteran notched two tackles Sunday in Cleveland's 26-20 victory over the Panthers, bringing his total to 32 tackles so far this season.

Rounding out the week is Steelers rookie wideout James Washington, who caught two passes against the Raiders Sunday. While Washington hasn't filled up the stat sheet as a rookie, he received praise from quarterback Ben Roethlisberger this past week and was a key factor in big plays that weren't necessarily shown in the final box score Sunday.
James Washington redeemed himself today, if not for his early catch, it is this play here. Great grab by rounding off his stem and then coming through with the pitch. I am glad Washington at least rose to the occasion when they needed him most. #Steelers pic.twitter.com/C9e0GKOUpS
