Three Cowboys Earn Web.com Tour Status

STILLWATER, Okla. — Three former Oklahoma State Cowboy golfers earned status on the Web.com Tour after completing the final round of the Final Stage at the Tour's Qualifying Tournament this past week.
Nick Heinen, Jordan Niebrugge and Kristoffer Ventura were all in action at the event, which took place at The Cattail and Devil's Claw at Whirlwind Golf Club in Phoenix.
Niebrugge tied for 34th place, which guaranteed entry into the first eight events of the Tour's 2019 regular season. He finished at 18-under 270 after posting scores of 66, 69, 66 and 69.
Heinen shared 115th place at 8-under 280 after posting rounds of 67, 70, 71 and 72. Ventura tied for 129th place with rounds of 71, 72, 75 and 68 giving him a 2-under tally of 286.
The duo, who were part of OSU's NCAA Championship squad last spring, received conditional status for the upcoming season on the Tour.
