November 06, 2018 | Cowboy Football
STILLWATER - Oklahoma State football alumni continued making waves in their professional careers this past weekend, as the NFL wrapped up its ninth week of regular-season action. A look at some of the highlights:
Steelers rookie wide receiver James Washington got in on the action this past Sunday, hauling in two passes for 17 yards in Pittsburgh's 23-17 victory over Baltimore. It marked Washington's third multi-catching outing of the season as he continues to scrap for more playing time in a stacked Steelers wide receiving corps.
His teammate, rookie cornerback Tre Flowers, has been a bright spot as a starter in the Seattle secondary this season. Flowers, a converted safety, has recorded 32 total tackles, defended three passes and forced a fumble after being thrown in head-first to the fires of professional football.
Vikings kicker Dan Bailey capped off a week of Cowboy performances with a 39-yard field goal that helped Minnesota best its division rival, Detroit, with a 24-9 decision. Bailey has made nine of his 12 field-goal attempts this season and has not missed an extra point thus far.

Seahawks running back Chris Carson also continued to impress in the pacific northwest, where he logged eight carries for 40 yards before being forced to depart with a minor hip injury.
