Postgame Notes – Oklahoma State Cowboys vs Ouachita Baptist Tigers
- The Cowboys were led offensively by freshman Isaac Likekele (18 points), junior Lindy Waters (15 points, 9 rebounds & 3 assists) and junior Cameron McGriff (15 points, 10 rebounds & 3 assists).
- With the win, the Cowboys moved to 58-4 in exhibition play since the 1973-74 season.
- OSU has now won 31 straight exhibition games. The Cowboys are 21-0 since the NCAA rule change in 2005-06 that only allows exhibition play against other college teams.
- This would have been McGriff's first double-double in an OSU uniform, had this been a real game.
- Lindy Waters would have set a career high in rebounds with nine, if this were a real game.
- The Cowboys had a 27-11 advantage in fast break points in today's game.
- Yor Anei and Isaac Likekele started today in their first appearances in an OSU uniform.
- Kentrevious Jones, Maurice Calloo, Duncan Demuth, and Luke Major each made their first appearances in an OSU uniform.
- Today was the first ever meeting between the Cowboys and Tigers, regular season or exhibition.
- Today's game marked the second straight year and third time in four years OSU has played an opponent from the Great American Conference (GAC) in exhibition play.
- The Cowboys jumped out to an 11-0 lead just 4:05 into the first half. The Tigers missed their first 10 shots of the game.
- OSU led the entire game, after junior Thomas Dziagwa opened up the scoring with an and-one layup just five seconds into the game.
- Had this been a real game, it would have been the first time since Nov. 16, 2017 that OSU would have held an opponent under 20% from beyond the arc (OBU shot 15%).
- Graduate transfer Mike Cunningham was expected to start today's game but sat out due to a hamstring injury.
