Pair Of Cowgirls Named All-Region

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Oklahoma State's Kim Rodriguez and Haley Woodard have been named to the 2018 United Soccer Coaches Division I Women's All-Midwest Region Third Team.
A sophomore defender, Rodriguez tied for OSU's leading scorer in 2018 as she tallied 14 points on four goals and six assists. Three of her goals came via penalty kick, while her six assists ranked as the seventh most in the Big 12 Conference this season. She also led the Cowgirls with 41 corner kicks, and 12 of her 20 shots were on goal.
Rodriguez, who hails from Porter, Texas, started all 18 games for the Cowgirls and led the team with over 1,600 minutes played. She was also an All-Big 12 Second Team selection.
Woodard capped her OSU career by tying for the team lead with six goals in 16 games, and she also led the Cowgirls with 56 shots, 24 of those on goal, to go along with an assist. Woodard's 3.5 shots per game led the Big 12 in 2018, and she also ranked in the top 10 in the league in goals per game and points per game.
The United Soccer Coaches Midwest Region consists of schools from four conferences – the Big 12, Mid-American, Missouri Valley and Southland.
