Cowboys in the NFL: Week 12
November 27, 2018 | Cowboy Football
STILLWATER -Â Week 12 of the NFL regular season has come and gone, and again several former Oklahoma State stars contributed to their team's success over the week. A look at some of the highlights.
Seahawks rookie cornerback Tre Flowers continued to build on an impressive season as Seattle's starter out wide. He racked up seven tackles and forced two fumbles in Sunday's 30-27 victory over the Panthers, and Flowers' head coach, Pete Carroll, took notice of the rookie's performance.
Â
Seattle also got continued production from running back Chris Carson, who scored his fourth rushing touchdown of the season Sunday. The Seahawks are 4-0 this season when Carson finds the endzone on the ground.
The former Cowboy also produced one of the wildest clips to come out of the NFL this past weekend, doing a full flip and landing on his feet after hurdling a defender.Â
Â
Continuing the trend of young Cowboys, Browns defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah was limited on the stat sheet, recording just one tackle, but made his presecense felt in other ways, including a key third-quarter fumble recovery that helped Cleveland run away with a 35-20 victory over the Bengals.
Â
Other notable stats from this past weekend include Raiders rookie wide receiver Marcell Ateman hauling in three passes for 16 yards against a stingy Ravens defense, and Vikings kicker Dan Bailey booting a 37-yard field goal in Minnesota's 24-17 win over the rival Packers.

Â
Carroll on Tre Flowers: Really shown he's a ball hawk. He gets it. Exciting to see a young player have a knack for attacking the football. Really helps our team. He had a solid game - critical play at the goalline, tackle on 3rd down before Gano FG miss. #Seahawks
