Postgame Notes:
- Today's win over Memphis moved OSU to 3-1 on the season. The Cowboys will face Villanova in the second round of the AdvoCare Invitational on Friday at 10:30 AM CT.
- Yor Anei blocked six shots in today's game, which ties Byron Houston for the most in a game by an OSU freshman. Houston did this twice in 1989. Anei's six blocks is also the most by a Cowboy since Andre Williams had seven in 2003.
- Yor Anei recorded five of his six blocks in the first half of today's game. The most blocks in a half by a Cowboy is seven by Joe Atkinson at New Orleans on Jan. 5, 1985.
- Cameron McGriff recorded 11 points and 12 rebounds. This gave the junior Cowboy his second double-double of the season and of his career.
- Graduate transfer Mike Cunningham made his first appearance in an OSU uniform today and scored eight points off the bench for the Cowboys in the first half alone.
- Thomas Dziagwa has knocked down at least four three-pointers in every game this season. He made four today.
- Thomas Dziagwa is currently shooting 62.9% (17-27) from three this season, which gives him the 7th best three-point shooting percentage in the country.
- Aside from his defensive presence, Yor Anei also recorded a career-high 12 points and four rebounds.
- Cameron McGriff, Lindy Waters and Thomas Dziagwa have all reached double-figures in scoring in each game this season for OSU.
- Today marked the second straight game in which OSU has had at least five players score in double-figures. The team had six players in double-figures today; the last time that happened was Nov. 16, 2016 against New Orleans.
- OSU has blocked at least four shots in each game this year. The team blocked 10 shots in today's game, which breaks the record for the most in a game at the AdvoCare Invitational. Maryland had eight blocks in the tournament in 2008.
- Under Coach Boynton, OSU is now 17-6 when it enters halftime with a lead. The team was up 41-31 going into the break tonight.
