Today's win over Memphis moved OSU to 3-1 on the season. The Cowboys will face Villanova in the second round of the AdvoCare Invitational on Friday at 10:30 AM CT.
Yor Anei blocked six shots in today's game, which ties Byron Houston for the most in a game by an OSU freshman. Houston did this twice in 1989. Anei's six blocks is also the most by a Cowboy since Andre Williams had seven in 2003.
Yor Anei recorded five of his six blocks in the first half of today's game. The most blocks in a half by a Cowboy is seven by Joe Atkinson at New Orleans on Jan. 5, 1985.
Cameron McGriff recorded 11 points and 12 rebounds. This gave the junior Cowboy his second double-double of the season and of his career.
