The Oklahoma State win …
- Made it bowl eligible for its 13th consecutive season, extending a school record. The streak is also the 10th-longest active bowl streak in the nation.
- Made it 5-1 in its past six games vs. opponents ranked in the A.P. top 25.
- Was Mike Gundy's eighth career win over an AP top-10 opponent and the 19th in OSU history.
- Marked its second win over an A.P. top-seven team this season.
- Marked the first time in school history OSU has beaten A.P. top-10 teams in back-to-back home games.
- Marked the fourth time in school history it has beaten two A.P. top-10 teams in one season. (It is the fifth time including 1972 with a win over No. 3 Colorado and win by forfeit over No. 3 Oklahoma)
- Gave it four straight wins vs WVU, extending the longest streak for either team in the series.
- Improved it to 24-9 in its past 33 games and 38-14 in its past 52 games overall.

:: OSU matched its second-largest comeback victory in school history after coming back from 17-point halftime deficit to win the game. It was OSU's eighth 17-point comeback win, and its first since doing so against Iowa State in 2016. The only larger comeback came in 1979 when OSU come from 20 points behind to defeat Colorado.
:: OSU is 17-5 in its last 22 games decided by less than 10 points.
:: OSU has had at least one 100-yard receiver in 13 of its last 16 games.
:: OSU has had a 100-yard rusher in 16 of its last 25 games.
:: OSU has outrushed its opponent in 17 of its last 25 games and in 19 of its last 28 games.

:: Taylor Cornelius tied a career high with five touchdown passes; he also had five in the season opener vs. Missouri State. He has had three or more in six games this season.
:: Cornelius was 30-of-46 passing for 338 yards, marking his sixth 300-yard game of the season. That total is tied for the fourth most by an OSU quarterback– only Brandon Weeden and Mason Rudolph had more in a season.
:: Cornelius also finished with 106 rushing yards to become the first OSU QB to eclipse the 100-yard rushing mark since J.W. Walsh had 125 yards on the ground against Mississippi State in 2013.
:: Cornelius became just the third player in Big 12 history to have 300 yards passing, 100 yards rushing and five passing touchdowns in a game. The last to do it was Baylor's Seth Russell in 2015.
:: Taylor Cornelius now ranks fifth in OSU history in passing touchdowns in a season with 28. He also moved into seventh on the single-season lists in attempts (401) and completions (245). His 2,461 passing yards is just 17 shy of cracking the top 10.
:: Cornelius ended a streak of 142 pass attempts without an interception, marking the fifth-longest streak in OSU history.
:: Chuba Hubbard finished with a career-high 138 rushing yards to give him back-to-back 100-yard efforts after posting 104 last week.
:: Dillon Stoner recorded career highs with nine catches and 127 yards. He has had at least one catch in each of his last 23 games.
:: Tylan Wallace had two touchdown catches for the third time in the last four games. The Biletnikoff Award semifinalist finished the game with seven catches for 62 yards and now has 75 catches for 1,344 yards and 11 touchdowns on the season.
:: Logan Carter blocked West Virginia's first punt of the game. It was OSU's 24th blocked kick since 2013, the second-most in nation during that time span. The Cowboys also entered the game ranked fifth nationally with two blocked punts this season, with this one marking their third.
:: Carter also had a 20-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter on the first catch of his career.
