Cowboys Earn At-Large Bid to NCAA Championships

STILLWATER—The Oklahoma State men's cross country team earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Championships, the organization announced Saturday.

The championship berth marks the 16th consecutive appearance for the Cowboys at the final race of the cross country season.

OSU's at-large berth comes on the heels of a fourth-place finish at the Midwest Regional. At-large bids to the NCAA Cross Country Championships are based on a team's regional finish and victories over other qualifying teams throughout the season.

The Cowboys join the OSU women's cross country squad for a trip to the NCAA Championships in Madison, Wisconsin. The Cowgirls earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships on Friday.

Both squads make the trip to the Badger State for their race on Saturday. The women's 6K race takes place at 10:45 a.m. and the men's 10K follows at 11:45 a.m.
