Cowboys in the NFL, Week Two

STILLWATER – Several former members of the Oklahoma State football team saw action in week two of the NFL season this past weekend.
The most notable of performances by former Cowboys came from rookie running back Chris Carson, as he rushed for 93 yards on 20 carries for the Seahawks. Carson has impressed plenty with his early performances and the Lilburn, Georgia, native currently ranks seventh in the league with 132 rushing yards.
Another Cowboy that continued to impress this week was Cowboys kicker Dan Bailey. The former OSU standout made both of his PAT attempts and a career-long 56-yard field goal to remain perfect through two weeks.
Dez Bryant, Bailey's teammate in Dallas, also performed well in Denver Sunday, as he hauled in a season-high seven passes for 59 yards and his first touchdown of the year.
Dolphins defensive tackle Vincent Taylor made his NFL debut this week after the Dolphins regular-season opener was postponed due to Hurricane Irma last week. Taylor made an immediate impact for his new team, as his ability to block kicks contributed to the Chargers missing a last-second field goal that sealed the win for Miami.
One of Taylor's former comrades on the OSU defensive line, Emmanuel Ogbah, continued to be a force against opposing quarterbacks this week, as he recorded his second pass deflection of the season against Baltimore.
Oklahoma State also had solid performances from two former offensive lineman this week, with Lane Taylor contributing to the Packers' offensive success and Russell Okung sharing some sage advice via Twitter.
