Oklahoma State traveled to the Bay Area last week and recorded a tie at San Francisco before suffering its first loss of 2017 at No. 15 California. Up next, the Cowgirls open Big 12 Conference play when they host Bedlam-rival Oklahoma on Friday afternoon.

- With its 1-1 tie at San Francisco Friday night, OSU extended its unbeaten streak to nine, marking its best start to a season since 2011. The streak was snapped with a 3-0 loss at Cal on Sunday, which is the only time this the Cowgirls have been shut out this season.
- OSU finishes the non-conference portion of its schedule with a 7-1-2 record.
- Claire Gantzer scored the OSU goal vs. USF, giving her three goals on the season, a total that ranks second on the squad this season. She is one of two Cowgirls, along with fellow sophomore Charmé Morgan, who did not have a goal last season but has three in 2017.
- Gantzer's goal came on a header off a corner kick and marked the fifth goal OSU has scored directly off a corner kick this season.
- Goalie Michela Ongaro recorded six saves against San Francisco, two shy of her season high.
