Cowboys in the NFL, Week One

STILLWATER – With the NFL regular season kicking off this past weekend, several former Cowboys saw action around the league.
The most notable on-field performance by a former Cowboy came from Dallas kicker Dan Bailey, who went 4-for-4 on field goal attempts during a 19-3 win over the Giants. Bailey also made his one PAT attempt to tally a game-high 13 points.
Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant played in the game as well, reeling in two catches for 43 yard, which included an impressive 35-yard reception that resulted in a Dallas first down.
Running Back Chris Carson handled more snaps than any Seahawks running back this week during his NFL debut against the Packers. Carson finished with 39 rushing yards on six carries. He also tallied his first career reception against Green Bay on Sunday.
Former OSU offensive lineman Lane Taylor also took part in that contest, albeit on the other side, as he helped the Packers earn a 17-9 victory in their season opener. Taylor recently signed a three-year contract extension with Green Bay that will keep him with the team through the 2020 season.
Another former OSU offensive lineman, Russell Okung, made his debut with the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football this week against the Denver Broncos. Okung is in first season with the Chargers and his eighth season overall in the NFL.
Browns defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah impressed both on and off the field this week, as he recorded his first tackle of the year and batted down a Ben Roethlisberger pass against the Steelers. Ogbah has also spearheaded the Browns' raising of more than 24 thousand dollars for hurricane relief in recent weeks.
One of Ogbah's former colleauges on the OSU defensive line, Vincent Taylor, has also been serving his community recently, as he spent time with the Jason Taylor Foundation last week. Taylor's NFL debut with the Miami Dolphins was postponed this week due to Hurricane Irma.

Chris Carson has been the best RB in Seattle. Pretty obvious. Just gotta wonder if he gets a chance to be a featured back in that mess.
