Oklahoma State remained unbeaten through the first month of the 2017 season following home wins over Illinois and Abilene Christian last week. Up next, the Cowgirls head to the Bay Area to take on San Francisco and California.

Weekend Highlights
- In improving to 7-0-1, OSU is off to its best start since 2011. That season the Cowgirls went unbeaten in their first 21 matches (19-0-2) en route to a school-record 22 wins.
- OSU recorded shutouts in both wins last weekend, bringing their season total to five, which is tied with Baylor for the most in the Big 12. Michela Ongaro recorded her first shutout of the season Friday vs. Illinois, while fellow senior Tanya de Souza picked up her first shutout in an OSU uniform against Abilene Christian on Sunday; both goalies collected four saves in their matches.
- Ongaro's shutout marked the 14th of her career, which moved her into a tie for third on OSU's all-time shutouts list.
- Four different Cowgirls recorded goals on the weekend, with Haley Woodard collecting two scores.
- Anna Beffer entered the weekend as the NCAA leader in assists and tallied two more to bring her season total to eight.
- Beffer now ranks 10th on OSU's single-season assists list, while her 17 career assists is also 10th in program history.

- OSU and Texas are the only undefeated teams in the Big 12 Conference through the first month of 2017. The Longhorns are 7-0-0.
- OSU's .938 winning percentage ranks eighth in the NCAA this season.
- OSU has outscored its opponents 25-4 on the season, and 12 different Cowgirls have recorded goals. Eight of those players have multiple goals, led by Taylor Olson's four.
- The Cowgirls' 25 goals rank fourth nationally, and OSU also ranks fourth in the NCAA in points (72), sixth in corner kicks per game at 7.88 and seventh in assists (22) and scoring offense at 3.13 goals per game.
- The Cowgirls lead the Big 12 in goals (25), assists (22), points (72) and corner kicks (63). They rank second in the league in shots (146), goals allowed (4) and goals against average (0.49).
- Anna Beffer's eight assists lead the NCAA and mark her career high.
- Jaci Jones ranks ninth nationally with five assists.

- OSU will travel to the Bay Area this week to take on a pair of opponents it has never before faced on the pitch. The Cowgirls play at San Francisco Friday at 9 p.m. (CST) before a Sunday showdown of nationally ranked teams at California on Sunday at 1 p.m. (CST).
- San Francisco is 2-4-1 on the season with wins over New Mexico and Cal. Among the Dons' losses is a double overtime contest against Texas Tech on a neutral field as well as setbacks against Oregon State at home and at No. 2 Stanford.
- Cal is 5-1-0 on the season, with its lone loss coming at San Francisco, and was ranked as high as No. 16 in last week's national polls. The Bears host Oklahoma Friday night.Â
