Cowgirl Soccer Enters National Rankings

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the first time since 2012, Oklahoma State soccer is nationally ranked as the Cowgirls checked in at No. 19 in this week's United Soccer Coaches poll.

The Cowgirls are 4-0-0 and off to their best start to a season since 2012. Their last appearance in the national rankings came during that same season when OSU was No. 22 in the Oct. 1 NSCAA poll.

OSU has outscored its opponents by a 12-2 margin this season, with their 12 goals ranking seventh nationally. The Cowgirls are one of 36 unbeaten and untied teams left in Division I.

Charmé Morgan and Jaci Jones are leading an OSU attack that has seen 10 different Cowgirls record goals. Morgan tops the Big 12 with three goals, while Jones' four assists are also best in the league.

OSU returns to action Friday for a matchup of top-25 teams when the Cowgirls take on 12th-ranked Texas A&M in College Station. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m.
