Cowgirls Add Transfer Loryn Goodwin To Roster

STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma State's women's basketball program has added Loryn Goodwin to its roster it was announced today by head coach Jim Littell.
A senior from Cypress, Texas, Goodwin will be eligible for the 2017-18 season.
"We are excited to welcome Loryn, who will bring a wealth of experience and success to our program," Littell said. "She is very athletic, has the ability to shoot the three and also score off the dribble. She possesses a high basketball IQ with a competitive attitude and her leadership skills will be a tremendous asset to our team."
Goodwin spent the 2016-17 campaign at UTSA, where she was named a first-team All-Conference USA selection as well as the league's newcomer of the year. Goodwin averaged team highs with her 17.5 points, 4.5 assists and 3.1 steals per contest. Additionally, she grabbed 5.9 boards per outing.
The 5-9 guard led the Roadrunners in scoring on 16 occasions, including a 37-point outing in the season opener against Angelo State. She finished the year with five double-doubles as well.
In the classroom, she was named to the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll as well as the Conference USA Women's Basketball All-Academic Team.
