Gundy Completes ESPN 'Car Wash' Appearance

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy spent Thursday night and Friday on the ESPN campus in Bristol, Connecticut, where he appeared across multiple programs and platforms as part of ESPN's annual 'Car Wash.'
Gundy opened his trip to the Worldwide Leader with an appearance during the 10 and 11 p.m. CT editions of SportsCenter Thursday night. While sitting down for an interview with Kenny Mayne, he received a phone call from ESPN NHL Analyst Barry Melrose, and the two shared a brief conversation about their shared hairstyle before Gundy and Mayne went on to discuss the upcoming football season.
After his Thursday-night experience, the Cowboys' head coach went through a jam-packed day of interviews Friday. His day started with a 6:45 a.m. CT appearance on SportsCenter:AM.
Gundy continued to make the rounds in Bristol by producing some feature content for SportsCenter before stopping by Studio G for a one-on-one interview with Rece Davis. The interview with Davis is expected to air during ESPN's College Football Preview Show on August 20.
Next up, Gundy sat down with Ivan Maisel to discuss Oklahoma State on the Championship Drive Podcast. He then made his way over to Studio E for another live-television appearance on ESPN's First Take.
Gundy continued his non-stop morning with SportsCenter Originals, where he was involved in creating content for social media. He also spent time with the ESPN features unit taping footage that will be used throughout the upcoming college football season.
After a quick break for lunch, Gundy's busy day continued with an appearance on The Paul Finebaum Show and an interview with ESPN's Freddie & Fitz. He also made two more TV appearances Friday, as he was a guest on both Highly Questionable and College Football Live.
