Rudolph and Sinor Discuss Their Heisman Campaigns
July 12, 2017 | Cowboy Football
STILLWATER - Oklahoma State quarterback Mason Rudolph and punter Zach Sinor sat down this week to discuss their respective Heisman campaigns, but the duo's interviews revealed that their are two sides to the story of their relationship.
The subject of the interviews revolved around finding a balance between having fun while also staying level-headed and driven towards success on the field. One of the ways that Rudolph and Sinor have achieved this balance is through their shared celebration.
"After I kick the PAT, I wait for Mason to come on the field," Sinor said. "When I see him, it's a special moment because we go left, right, left and then jump. I'm not saying I'm the reason for Mason's success, but without my support I think it would be very difficult for him to be successful."
Rudolph was also asked about the tandem's on-field celebration, but asked for a clip or a video of the celebration because he couldn't quite remember what was being discussed. After he was shown a clip of the two jumping toward each other after a PAT, Rudolph pulled back the curtain on his confusion.
"Yeah, I thought that was Austin Hays," Rudolph teasingly said.
