OSU Puts 37 on Academic All-Conference List

IRVING, Texas – The Oklahoma State track and field program put 37 athletes on the Big 12's Academic all-conference list, including four first-team honorees with 4.0 GPAs.
Cole Verble led the Cowboys' list of eight first-team all-conference honors with his 4.0 in Psychology. Three Cowgirls, Sarah Robinson, Stephanie Ferrante and Emily Hart, earned perfect GPAs to head the list of 18 first-team honorees for the Cowgirls.
Verble was one of just two men to make the list with a 4.0, and OSU's three women with 4.0 GPAs was second in the conference.
First team members consist of those who have maintained a 3.20 or better GPA while the second team selections hold a 3.00 to 3.19 GPA.
To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a 3.00 GPA or higher either cumulative or the two previous semesters and must have participated in 60 percent of their team's scheduled contests. Freshmen and transfers are not eligible in their first year of academic residence. Senior student-athletes who have participated for a minimum of two years and meet all the criteria except percent of participation are also eligible.
