OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. ---- Oklahoma State softball swept a pair of games over No. 16 Baylor and Iowa State Friday at the ASA Hall of Fame Stadium complex to advance to the Big 12 Championship Saturday at 4:30 p.m. on Fox Sports 2. The Cowgirls started the day with a 2-1 upset of the Bears before downing the Cyclones, 10-0, in five innings.

Â
"I thought our pitches threw really well," head coach Kenny Gajewski said. "Our walks were way down. When you don't walk kids and they get a hit or two innings don't blow up. That's what we've done really well. I think coach Morgan has done a great job emphasizing no free passes. And when we do that we've got a good shot to be really good."

Â
Baylor looked poised for a comeback in the bottom of the fourth when it got on the board with a an RBI double to make it 2-1 but Brandi Needham held the Bears scoreless down the stretch to propel the Cowgirls to victory.Â
Â

Â
The second game was all OSU from start to finish.Lynch and Bayless RBIs in the bottom of the first gave the Cowgirls the 3-0 lead they wouldn't give up, but instead only built on.
Â
Oklahoma State scored three more runs in the bottom of the second thanks to Lynch, Madi Sue Montgomery and Haffner RBIs to take a commanding 6-0 lead.
Â
