SEATTLE, Wash. – The Oklahoma State women's tennis team bounced back from dropping only its second doubles point of the season Saturday afternoon, winning five of six singles matches to pick up a 5-2 win over Northwestern in a neutral-site contest at the Nordstrom Tennis Complex.
The Cowgirls (10-3) gave up the third doubles point in their last 47 matches as Northwestern picked up wins on courts one and two to take an early lead. The senior tandem of Viktoriya Lushkova and Carla Tur Mari came up with the lone doubles win, defeating Northwestern's Lee Or and Rheeya Doshi, 6-1.
The Cowgirls showed resilience in singles as they overwhelmed the Wildcats with five straight-set wins.
