Cowboys Back In Action In Mexico

QUERENCIA, Mexico – Oklahoma State's men's golf team will resume its spring slate this weekend when it begins play at the Querencia Cabo Collegiate at Querencia Golf Club.
The eighth-ranked Cowboys and the rest of the 15-team field will begin play on Sunday at 10 a.m. with a shotgun start. The event will consist of 54 holes over three days with 18 holes being played each day Sunday through Tuesday at the par-71, 6,928-yard layout.
Georgia is the defending team champion, while USF's Aksel Olsen claimed medalist honors a year ago.
Coming off a seventh-place showing in their season-opening event at the Amer Ari Intercollegiate in Hawaii, the Cowboys will feature a starting lineup that consists of senior Zachary Olsen, junior Kristoffer Ventura, freshman Viktor Hovland, sophomore Hayden Wood and sophomore Zach Bauchou.
Olsen enters the OSU lineup fresh off a 10th-place showing in the season opener where he competed individually. Hovland and Ventura were the Cowboys' top finishers in the starting five, tying for 33rd place.
The Cowboys will be grouped with Mississippi, Florida State and Duke for their opening round.
